Pre-qualifications

Customers wishing to take-up Central Victoria Solar City’s free in-home display CANNOT have the following:

• Electric Slab Heating tariff, even if it’s not being used, unless it is an old slab heating system has been decommissioned and the tariff is no longer current with the retailer;
• Climate Saver tariff (this may be called other names by different retailers. This is a winter tariff normally for large reverse cycle air conditioners);
  Electric storage heaters – large heater with ceramic blocks that heat off peak over night then release heat during day;
• BOTH multiphase power AND electric hot water;
• Electric Hot Water that has an off-peak tariff or Winner Tariff (any electric hot water must be on a flat rate or Time of Use TOU tariff)

Terms and Conditions

# Offer limited to 250 customers. The In-Home Display (IHD) will be supplied and installed by Powercor at your Supply Address. The IHD will display solar PV electricity exported to the grid. Solar power generation is displayed by your inverter. The IHD will display the electricity usage price charged by Origin and will not display any service or other charges, so there will not be an exact correlation between the price shown on the IHD and the amount you are actually invoiced by Origin.
