Central Victoria Solar City is offering a range of Local Energy Solutions Packages to help households become more sustainable with their energy use, and help reduce their impact on the environment.

A limited number of householders can choose ONE option from a menu of energy efficiency, local generation and demand management product and service packages.

Manage your energy locally:

1. Energy Audit Package
Identify ways you can reduce your energy use around the home.
2. Retrofit Package
Improve existing household fixtures and fittings to reduce your energy use.
3. Smart Rates Package:
Outsmart your electricity bills by trialling one of Origin’s two exclusive new Central Victoria Solar City pricing plans for electricity.
Simply choose from:

• Smart Time of Use - offering you access to low rates during off-peak times (9pm-7am weekdays and all weekends); OR
• Dynamic Saver – enjoy cheaper prices all year round except between 2-8pm on 10 days of the year.

Create your energy locally:

4. Solar Hot Water Package
Generate your own hot water with a solar hot water system and reduce your greenhouse gas emissions.
5. Household Solar Electric Package
Generate green electricity at home with a solar electricity system.
6. Solar Park Package
Subscribe to the Solar Park Package, which includes the rental of a 2 kW share of the photovoltaic system located at your local Solar Park in Bendigo or Ballarat.

7. Full Suite Package
Access a set combination of our products and services to maximize the energy efficiency benefits available through the Central Victoria Solar City trial.

Research: As part of each package, all participants are asked to take part in vital research on energy use. In return you will be eligible for financial incentives.
Rebates and Credits: You may be eligible for Commonwealth and State Government rebates or energy efficiency credits to help meet all or part of the cost of the product or service selected.
