Welcome to Central Victoria Solar City – part of the $94 million Australian Government’s Solar Cities initiative which runs until mid 2013.
Central Victoria Solar City
The $42 million Central Victoria Solar City project is funded by the Australian Government through the Department of the Environment, Water, Heritage and the Arts, the Central Victoria Solar City Consortium and other supporting organisations.
The Central Victoria Solar City project is part of the Australian Government’s $94 million Solar Cities program that offers incentives to local residents and businesses to participate in a trial range of energy efficiency, local energy generation and demand management products and services. The project aims to discover innovative local energy solutions for you, your community and the planet.
Open to 2,500 households and businesses in the Central Victoria Solar City area, this initiative is helping change the way we think about, and use, energy.

a menu of energy efficiency services, and local generation and demand management products.

Local Energy Solutions Roadshow
During February/early March the Central Victoria Solar City team is
making community presentations across Central Victoria to show how
you can take up local energy solutions such as Household Solar Systems,
Solar Hot Water and Retrofits, as well as other products and services,
and discover the bonuses, tariffs and other financial incentives
Central Victorians may be eligible for as part of the project.
